apple airtags

this is a quick but an informative post especially if you are travelling these days. i always pack my carry-on with the most valuable things just in case my bag gets lost in the process but Apple has introduced AirTags: a tracking device. they are great for luggage and other personal items you don’t want to lose. having AirTags are useful because you know exactly when your luggage is loaded onto a plane and exactly where they are when the plane lands. AirTags in bags are worth it because the setup takes seconds (similar to how you would pair your AirPods), it’s easy to hear and has amazing GPS directions.

1. update your phone to iOS 14.5+ (yes, this is only for iPhone users)

2. to keep your personal items organized, you can Name your AirTag: luggage, purse, keys, dog (set each AirTag one at a time)

3. register your AirTag to your Apple ID

4. if your belonging goes missing, you can use “Find My” you’ll see last known location and time. tap Play Sound to listen for sound.

there is the apple AirTag 4 pack, which is a great deal and you can buy a key ring for it if you’re attaching it to a backpack for example. thank you to Amazon for collaborating with me on this post.
