slump tips

sometimes, we get into a slump. it’s called being human. i don’t have motivation every single day. sometimes i’m bringing 100% to my day and sometimes i’m bringing 30% to my day. you’re not gonna bring it every single day and that is normal. sharing some tips for motivation when you do have those slump days and so you don’t have those slump days for too long. if i don’t feel like it (but i have to), i will usually make tea, light a candle and dress up to switch on, however the habits below help with consistent productivity and minimal slump.

1. have a routine that you love – do yourself a favor and create a routine/structure for yourself. this is such a good foundation to have. make it where you look forward to it every morning and it makes you feel so happy. when you’re happy, you’re more productive.

2. set achievable goals – schedule your goals in your calendar for the week. this allows you to stay on a good path. part of getting out of a slump is having some sort of discipline. if you have discipline most days, you can get away with having a slump day without getting too far behind.

3. find people who inspire you – the quickest way to get out of a slump is to listen to a good, motivational podcast. when you need to get things done, remove all negativity and annoying things.

4. create a daily to do list – being organized helps you feel more empowered and liberated because you know exactly what you have to do. when you know exactly what to do, you’re not going to be in a slump for too long.

5. remember your why – everyone is trying to get to themselves. what are you trying to achieve? great health, a great relationship, a great career, enjoyment of life, a beautiful home or family? when you know your why with crystal clarity, you’re able to keep going without too much effort and you also happily put in the work/effort. watch your life improve in every area once you figure this out.
