this mixture of citrus and spices is inspired by the natural scent of Christmas morning and winter time. imagine crackling fires, hot chocolates, old books and good conversations. it’s a simple way to make your home smell like heavenly Christmas. this seasonal scent comes together perfectly within minutes.
- INGREDIENTS:
- ½ cup cranberries
- 4 sliced oranges
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tbs star anise
- 1 tbs cloves
- 1-2 tbs nutmeg
- 2-3 rosemary Sprigs
- 3 cups water
- METHOD:
- simply add the cranberries, orange slices, rosemary sprigs, cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves and nutmeg. add water and bring to a summer over low heat, uncovered. allow the aroma to simmer through your home. you can add more water as needed.
- NOTES:
- you can add (apples, sugar plum, vanilla or pine) or take ingredients. any smells that remind you of Christmas.
